Corporate Investment Manager

Full Time/Part Time Position Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Corporate Investment Manager to oversee the company’s diverse asset portfolio, including real estate, stocks, bonds, and equipment, with a primary focus on maximizing returns and optimizing investment strategies. This role is responsible for developing and executing investment strategies, monitoring portfolio performance, mitigating risks, and ensuring the company’s long-term financial growth. The Corporate Investment Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to achieve strategic investment objectives while balancing both short-term liquidity needs and long-term asset growth.

 

Responsibility Areas:

    • Lead the management of the company’s diverse asset portfolio, including real estate, equipment, stocks, and bonds, by tracking investment performance and maintaining detailed records of transactions.
    • Develop and execute investment strategies focused on maximizing ROI and portfolio diversification while identifying new opportunities in various sectors to optimize returns.
    • Collaborate with portfolio managers to monitor and enhance the performance of investment vehicles, such as U.S. Treasuries, stocks, and real estate, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
    • Conduct financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, portfolio performance evaluation, and budget tracking, to ensure optimized asset and investment performance.
    • Prepare detailed asset valuation reports and investment performance summaries, providing insights into market trends and portfolio growth to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
    • Identify and assess risks related to asset and investment decisions, providing data-driven insights for risk assessment, mitigation, and sound financial decision-making.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of property holdings (residential and commercial), including lease administration, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in asset management, portfolio management, or real estate investment management, with a focus on managing institutional or corporate cash reserves.
    • Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment vehicles, and real estate markets.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and risk assessment tools.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and reporting skills for presenting investment strategies and outcomes to senior management.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make timely investment decisions.
    • Detail-oriented and proficient in managing multiple assets across different sectors.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
    • Bilingual proficiency in both English and Korean.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA degree or CFA certification.
    • 10+ years of experience in asset management, portfolio management, or real estate investment management, with a focus on managing institutional or corporate cash reserves.
    • Experience preparing and presenting investment strategies and outcomes to senior management.
    • Ability to balance long-term investment goals with short-term liquidity needs.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external advisors.

Work Hours: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
