Sales Manager

Full Time Position Job Details

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager role primarily involves managing individual sales representatives, overseeing sales planning within the steel industry, and communicating with other departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership and a talent for motivating and leading a team in the steel industry. This role requires the ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic sales plans and deliver regular presentations to management.

 

Responsibility Areas: 

    • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team.
    • Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic sales plans to attain sales goals and profitability.
    • Design marketing plans and provide accurate pricing consistent with pricing policies.
    • Resolve customer complaints and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics.
    • Prepare sales forecasts and reports.
    • Deliver regular presentations to management.
    • Communicate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Represent the company at trade association conferences and trade shows.
 

Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management
    • Background in the steel industry
    • Proven leadership and team management skills
    • Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Willingness to travel as needed 
 

Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management in the steel industry (HRC, galvalume, galvanized, and aluminum products) 


Work Hours: 
Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
