Traffic Coordinator

Full Time Position Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Traffic Coordinator at an entry to intermediate level to manage day-to-day shipping operations, ensuring smooth freight transitions and compliance with regulations. You will coordinate with carriers, port terminals, and warehouses, handle multimodal transportation, and troubleshoot issues promptly. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential. Prior experience in import/export coordination or logistics is preferred.

Responsibility Areas: 

    • Handle Day-to-day shipping operations to fulfill released customer orders
    • Coordinate and communicate proactively with carriers, port terminals and warehouses to ensure smooth freight transition
    • Understand and comply with regulations & requirements of shipment handling
    • Monitor Vessel movement and prepare documents with shipping agents and terminals
    • Work with readiness for troubleshooting and finding alternate solutions promptly
    • Find vendor resources for a possible cost reduction and effectiveness
    • Handle multimodal transportations including trucks, River Transport, Ocean Transport, and Rail Transport
    • Forecast incoming materials and secure warehouse capacity at each Inventory sites

Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Ability to maintain high performance and accuracy while working under pressure
    • Ability to successfully meet strict deadlines and handle high-stress situations with ease
    • Be a proactive self-starter and detail oriented mind with ability to multitask 
    • Strong computer literacy a must (Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel Application) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

    • 1–2 years of experience as an import and/or export coordinator preferred 
    • Proven work experience as a traffic, logistics, and/or sales support agent
    • Strong communication skills


Work Hours: 
Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM)
